Our choir at St Michael’s is one of long-standing, with roots in the traditional all-male choir (see history here). While times have changed, our choir still flourishes as a wonderful mixed ensemble.
Under the direction of Maestro Tom Hammond-Davies, we are delighted to be able to offer exceptional choral music on Sundays at 10.30 am and at occasional special events.
Organist:
Dónal McCann
The choir and accompaniment is augmented or changed for special occasions or for particular pieces. As an example, a trumpeter, Stephen Cutting, enhanced the performance of a Purcell piece on Sunday 16th May 2021 – this can be viewed here.
Auditions for the choir are held all year round. Please contact the Director of Music for more information.
